If Easter day in Naples is entirely dedicated to religious tradition, on Easter Monday, however, we dedicate ourselves to outdoor activities, to visit museums or exhibitions, to relax by the sea or on some trekking path.
During this day, the Neapolitans organize picnics with friends, in places such as the Bosco di Capodimonte, the Royal Palace of Caserta.
For those who, on the other hand, want to take advantage of this day to rediscover museums and historical sites, it is possible to see the Bourbon galleries, Catacombs of San Gennaro, Castel Sant’Elmo or take a trip out of town arriving at the excavations of Pompi or on the paths on Vesuvius.
As always, Naples manages to satisfy all tastes, from the more traditional to the more adventurous ones, among other things, the spring climate of these days spurs tourists and non-tourists to travel all over Naples, from the historic center to the most dislocated sites.
